What Can Your Monetary Donation Do?

$1500 can sponsor the orthodontic treatment for a child 
$500 can provide backpacks and school supplies to 13 children
$250 can give refurbished computers to 3 children
$100 can purchase school supplies for 7 children
$75 can refurbish a computer for 1 youth
$50 can fulfill the holiday gift wishes of 2 children

 

We Need Your Help!

The Children's Fund program depends on generous contributions from the community to provide every one of the goods and services that the 4,500 children receive each year.  

The San Mateo County Human Services Agency funds all the operational and administrative costs associated with the program. Therefore 100% of every dollar donated goes directly to serving the children. Every donation makes a huge difference to the children we serve. Contributions are tax-deductible. 

How to Donate

We have many ways for you to donate to the Children's Fund:

  • You can click on our "Donation Form" tab for a one-time donation online for any of our current programs.
  • You can mail us your check to Children's Fund, 1 Davis Drive, Belmont, CA 94002. Please make checks payable to the "Children's Fund"

Note: County employees may send their donation to: Children’s Fund at PONY: H.S.A. 400. Or you may mail or drop off your donations to: 1 Davis Drive, Belmont, CA 94002.

All donations must be brand new. We accept gift cards and new toys, board games, art supplies, and sports equipment for children of all ages.

We cannot accept guns (including nerf guns), porcelain gifts, breakable items, stuffed animals, or anything used.
