The Children’s Fund Program, founded in 1973, as a grassroots effort by social workers to assist foster and low-income children in San Mateo County access goods and service that are not available through public funds. Every year over 4,500 children and youth, newborn to age 18, receive resources from our program.
The Children’s Fund relies on the kindness of businesses and individuals to provide for the children of our county. Our programs offer children items such as backpacks filled with school supplies, Halloween costumes, holiday gifts, and so much more.
Children’s Fund is suspending the receipt of in-kind donations until July 31, 2020 due to precautionary measures regarding COVID-19. Monetary donations, that are mailed, will still be accepted.
